Art & Play Therapy: My work integrates art therapy and expressive play with a strong knowledge of child development and family dynamics. Art and play materials allow a child to move, enact, and explore providing many 'languages' for communication, and support for many styles of learning. Children manipulate real objects to create something tangible completely under their own control. This activity facilitated by an experienced art therapist is a source of healing and can result in breakthroughs of communication — both verbal and non-verbal. Using art and play therapy is where I connect with children, building an understanding of their individual needs and enthusiasms, and seeing each child as an individual. My clients come from throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Please contact me...
